The Université de Moncton's Continuing Education will award a limited number of bursaries ranging from $300 to $500 at its various campuses to people admitted to a part-time study program.

Eligibility requirements for bursaries and financial assistance

To be eligible for these bursaries, you must be admitted to a part-time study program at the Université de Moncton, be enrolled in at least one course, have paid the registration fees, demonstrate financial need or good academic standing, and not have been enrolled full-time at the University for the last 12 months prior to the date of application.

Application deadlines:

Spring-Summer session: May 15
Fall session: 15 septembre
Winter session:January 15

It is thanks to the generosity of several contributors that these scholarships can be awarded to our students: Canadian Heritage (LOE Program), the late Dr. William-L.-Webster (Scoudouc Scholarship), Ms. Claudette Beaulieu (former Director of Continuing Education (formerly Permanent Education)), Mr. Patrick Maltais (former Director of Continuing Education (formerly Permanent Education)), Mr. Alphonse Gaudet (former professor in the Faculty of Education), as well as the Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan campuses of the Université de Moncton.

Student Financial Services administers the federal government's Canada Student Loan Program for part-time students. Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund

The Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund is a microloan for internationally trained immigrants living in Atlantic Canada. Offering microloans to newcomers enables them to overcome financial barriers to upgrade their skills and obtain their license or certification so they can:

  • Practice their profession, whether regulated or not.
  • Find opportunities in a related field.
  • Change careers to adapt to the needs of the job market.
