Course Description
📝 Health Environment
Participants in this workshop will learn essential second language skills for effective communication in both professional and everyday settings.
This includes the ability to:
- Provide and ask for simple health-related information
- Understand basic medical terms such as body parts, diseases, and symptoms
The main objectives of this workshop are to:
- Develop foundational communicative competence
- Acquire the ability to confidently ask for and provide basic health-related information
- Build vocabulary related to common body parts
- Learn to understand and use basic terminology for common diseases
- Gain familiarity with expressing and understanding common symptoms
- Enhance practical communication skills for everyday scenarios
🧠 Transversal Skills
Beyond language acquisition, our program offers a chance to develop fundamental transversal skills. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Develop Autonomy: Start to manage your learning independently by taking initiative and becoming familiar with available resources.
- Explore Digital Tools: Begin integrating digital technologies into your learning to improve efficiency.
- Engage in Teamwork: Participate in collaborative activities with other learners to enrich your learning.
🎯 Skill Level to be Achieved
The workshop is designed to acquire certain language skills and does not aim to achieve specific skill levels.

- Courses will be confirmed subject to a minimum number of participants.
- The fee for the language assessment, set at $50, will be deducted for any course registration.

Courses are offered at different times. You will be able to choose your schedule once you have completed the assessment. A link to a form will be sent to you by email.
