0308 - L'intelligence artificielle : un nouveau contexte en dépendance?
Course Description
This webinar is offered in French only.
Artificial intelligence is now part of many people's daily lives. It is used to obtain information, think through issues, make decisions, manage emotions, or navigate difficult situations. People living with addiction are now operating in a context that is no longer the one we have learned to assess. Among your clients, how many are already using artificial intelligence for emotional support? To seek advice when experiencing cravings? To reflect on an important decision or look for strategies to prevent a relapse? And, perhaps most importantly, how many of us simply ask them about it? What do we really know about these emerging uses? What benefits and risks are beginning to be documented? How might this new reality influence recovery, the helping relationship, and our assessment practices? Drawing on current scientific knowledge, clinical situations, and a forward-looking perspective, this webinar explores a rapidly evolving phenomenon. Without claiming to provide all the answers, it invites participants to take a fresh look at this transformation of the care environment and to reflect on questions we may not yet be asking... but that could soon become essential to our clinical practice.

- Describe the main clinical issues related to the use of artificial intelligence by people living with addiction, in light of current scientific knowledge.
